How Does Co-Investment Work?
Each project is a co-investment between OBOE and individual investors, focused on building high-quality homes that deliver a positive impact and strong returns.
As a co-investor, you’ll:
- Choose a project that suits you—based on location, size, and design.
- Receive regular updates throughout the build, and you’re welcome to visit the site.
- Partner with OBOE, who manages everything from land acquisition to approvals, construction, marketing, and sale.
The typical project duration is around 8 months, and once the home is sold:
- Your original funds are returned.
- Plus a premium above the bank deposit rate.
You’ll also receive a beautifully illustrated Impact Report, showcasing the real difference your investment has made – from better health outcomes and earthquake resilience to environmental benefits and inter-generational wellbeing.
